Conrad A. Nagel, a native of North Carolina, brings 21 years of personnel consultant experience to Wilmington Group. He began his career in the personnel service industry with a national search and placement firm, Management Recruiters Incorporated. There he was rated in the top 10% of executive recruiters in the nation and became the branch's fastest advancing executive - quickly reaching the level of Certified Senior Account Manager (CSAM). After 3 years with MRI, Conrad founded his own firm, Nagel Executive Search, in 1987. He has experience in practically all disciplines and his placement track record with the Textile and Apparel, Consumer Goods, and Culinary / Food industries is exemplary. With an emphasis on manufacturers, his placement track record is particularly outstanding in sales and marketing, product development, research and development, production planning, distribution, accounting / finance, engineering, and sourcing. His success has been largely due to his vast experience, reputation, willingness to go the extra mile beyond his competition, and a continual reaffirmation of each detail during the endeavor to find the most qualified candidate for the client.
Conrad has a degree in business and is originally from Greensboro, North Carolina. He also served six years in the United States Navy’s Atlantic Submarine Fleet. Conrad and his wife Laura and their three sons enjoy hiking, camping, and kayaking.
